CONSIGNOR AGREEMENT

 

This agreement is between Your Kids Closet and Consignor.  Your Kids Closet accepts maternity clothing, kids clothing, shoes, toys, bikes, games, outdoor play equipment, videos, baby/kids furniture and other kid related items.  Consignor will earn 70% of the selling price.  If consignor is volunteering for and does attend at least (1) 4 hour volunteer shift, consignor will instead earn 75% of the selling price.  If consignor fulfills the terms and agreements of a Super-Consignor shift, consignor will instead earn 80% of the selling price. 

 

§   Consignor agrees that clothing will be in “gently used” condition, with no stains, missing attachments, tears, excess wear, etc. 

 

§   Infant car seats sold as part of a “travel system” will be accepted as long as they are less than 5 years old and have never been in an accident.  Car seats must have the manufacturers sticker still attached.  Consignors must sign a waiver verifying that their car seat is not on a recall list and has never been in an accident.

 

§   Consignor takes responsibility for checking for recalls on ALL items.

 

§   Consignor agrees not to hold responsible or make an claims against Your Kids Closet LLC, the officers of Your Kids Closet, LLC, the lessors of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participant in Your Kids Closet LLC, or the insurer of Your Kids Closet LLC for the damage, theft or loss of any items consigned to Your Kids Closet LLC.  Your Kids Closet does not anticipate any thefts, damage or loss but occasionally these events may occur.

 

§   Consignor agrees to waive any and all claims for personal injury resulting from participation in Your Kids Closet from whatever cause either foreseen or unforeseen against Your Kids Closet LLC, the lessors of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in Your Kids Closet or the insurer of Your Kids Closet LLC.

 

§   All items must be tagged per Your Kids Closet tagging guidelines.  Consignor gives permission to Your Kids Closet LLC to price any items found with no price at fair market value to be determined by Your Kids Closet LLC staff.  Consignor agrees to accept this pricing as final. 

 

§   Consignor agrees that items found with no tag will be placed in lost and found.  Any items not claimed during pick up will be donated to charity or will go up for sale at the next Your Kids Closet LLC event.

 

§   Consignor agrees that no claims will be made against Your Kids Closet LLC for any discrepancies involving items placed in the sale.

 

§   Your Kids Closet will mail a check no later than two weeks after the last day of the event.  Consignor agrees that Your Kids Closet will deduct the $10 consignor fee from this check.  In the event that Consignor does not sell at least $10 worth of merchandise, this fee will be waived.

 

§   ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP ON Monday, March 12, 2012 between 7pm - 9pm.  Any items not picked during this time will be donated to charity.  A consignor number will be needed to pick up any items.

Un-Sold Items

What would you like to do with your items that do not sell at this sale?

 

ð       Pick them up on Monday, March 12, 2012 between 7pm – 9pm.  (Any items not picked up by 9pm will be donated.)

 

ð       Donate to a local charity (tags on items must indicate this option).
